Abstract
Objective: To compare and evaluate the clinical effects of laparoscopic and open surgeries in early cervical stump cancer and the application of uterus lifting cup. Methods: Sixty-seven patients with early cervical stump cancer( FIGO ⅠA-ⅡA) were randomly divided into laparoscopic group( n = 32) and open group( n = 35). Clinical histopathological variables, intraoperative conditions, postoperative recovery and follow-up were observed. Results: Compared with open group, less blood loss, shorter operative time, quicker recovery( earlier postoperative ambulation, shorter exhaust time,no significant fever),shorter hospital stay occurred in laparoscopic group( P 0. 05). There were no significant differences in postoperative complications or recurrence( P 0. 05). However, the quality of life after surgery in laparoscopic group was significantly higher than that in open group( P 0. 05). Conclusions: The laparoscopic treatment is more effective for cervical stump cancer than laparotomy, and laparoscopic treatment significantly improves the quality of life after surgery,so laparoscopic surgery is worthy of promotion. The uterus lifting cup makes the operations safer and quicker.
