Radiofrequency Catheter Ablation of Ventricular Ectopic Beats Originating in the Right Outflow Tract

Abstract
Objective To study the feasibility and effect of radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA) for eradication of frequent monomorphic ventricular ectopic beats originating in the right outflow tract.Methods Eleven patients with frequent monomorphic ventricular ectopic beats originating in the right outflow tract but without structural heart disease were included in the study. The site where the QRS was exactly match each other for pacing and ectopic beats was used as the site for RFCA ablated. Results The immediate successful rate was 91%(10/11). No complications encountered. During the following-up of 1-30 months, there were no late complications and no recurrence.Conclusions RFCA for frequent monomorphic ventricular ectopic beats originating in the right outflow tract is effective, safe and feasible.
