Discussion on the Properties of CLT in Solid-wood Furniture

Cross Laminated Timber(CLT) has wide application prospects in solid-wood furniture.Based on the systematical introduction of it s manufacturing process in aspects of the selection of species,adhesives,mechanical equipment,composite board preparation and forming,CLT has perfect wood appearance compared with veneer laminated MDF and solid wood jointed board.A series of mechanical properties experiments were conducted in order to provide theoretical guidance for the application of CLT in solid-wood furniture.Finally,the formaldehyde release of CLT was also tested in the paper,and the results show that CLT can achieve EO grade standard.
