Abstract
The main composition of this wastewater is acetaldehyde, paraldehyde, metaldehyde, pyridine and some acetaldehyde polymers. ρ(CODCr) value of the wastewater is from 3 000 to 4 000 mg·L-1 and BOD5/CODCr is only 0.05 ,which was treated by microelectrolytic method. The results indicated that the optimized condition of ferric-carbon microelectrolysis is pH=2, Fe/C=1∶2, HRT=2 h. Under this condition, the removal rate of CODCr was above 64%. And the value of BOD5/CODCr was above 0.45, the biodegradability of the wastewater also got improved after pretreatment
