Abstract
In order to quickly test the toxicity of heavy metal and the harms on human being, the Vibrio Fischeri and Abalone coli were selected as indicator organism and incubated in laboratory,7 heavy metals including Hg,Pb,Cd,Mn,Cu and Zn were tested for their toxicity and the luminescent inhibition rate of the photogenic bacterias representing the toxicity was calculated. The results show that the toxicity of heavy metal inhibits the luminescence yield of the photogenic bacteria. With the increase of concentration toxic objectives, the luminous intensity decreases. The correlation of luminescent inhibition rate and toxicity of the tested sample and its concentration is positive.
