On Network Security and Computer Virus Prevention in the Internet Era

The 21 st century sees the Internet deeply integrated into people's work,study and lives; however,many customers are short of the knowledge of the severe damage that the computer viruses have brought and the security risk that the Internet has been faced with when they are surfing the Internet. They are not fully aware of network security and cause significant security risks to themselves. Accordingly,the paper analyzes the characteristics of the computer virus and their severe damage,and then suggests that people should pay more attention to network security risks,set up the network safety awareness,attach importance to and take reasonable measures to prevent the virus,and cultivate better network behaviors. Only in this way can people minimize the security risks brought by the computer virus in the Internet era.
