the Clinical Application of Mini-plate in the Treatment of Radial Head Mason II/III Fractures

Abstract

Objective Mini-plate fixation of Mason Ⅱ,Ⅲ type of radial head fracture efficacy.Methods A retrospective analysis from September 2008 to August 2010 of 7 cases treated between the radial head Mason Ⅱ,Ⅲ clinical fractures by open reduction and miniplate internal fixation.Results Fractures healed without surgical incision infection,loosening of internal fixation occurred,according to Broberg and Morrey elbow score standard evaluation,excellent in 2 cases,good in 3 cases,fair in 1 case.Conclusion The use of micro-plate for treatment of radial head Mason Ⅱ,Ⅲ fracture fixation,reliable,easy to use and better prognosis.
