Abstract

Zhang Juzheng was an outstanding statesman and reformer of the Ming dynasty,who held power for ten years and carried out a series of reforms,rejuvenating for a time the then crisis-ridden dynasty,and hence famed as thetime-saving prime ministerand unprecedented talent.His success was undoubtedly connected with his practical administration thought.
