Abstract
Field site and laboratory experiment of water infiltration into a layered soils which include plough pan and loam-sand section were conducted.Effects of the two types of layered soil profile on infiltration capacity were analyzed and discussed on the basis of two infiltration parameters of Kostiakov infiltration equations and force of soil current.The experimental results indicate that soil configurations have obvious influence on soil infiltration capacity,and that the infiltration parameters show a trend of decrease.The result is of practical meaning in determining field infiltration parameters and in decreasing field infiltration.
