Abstract
Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a common cardiovascular disease. Clinical signs and symptoms of PE are often nonspecific, so imaging has played an important role in the diagnosis. Multi-detector row helical CT (MDCT) is non-invasive, fast and high sensitive, it should be the first choice for the diagnosis of PE.This article discusses the MDCT scan technology, imaging findings and comparing with other imaging examining methods, and discloses the existing problem and the prospective of MDCT in the diagnosis of PE.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
