Abstract
The influence of the content for ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer(EVA) and irradiation time on ethylene vinyl acetatecopolymer/high density polyethylene (EVA/HDPE),which used benzophenone (BP) as photoinitiator and trimethylolpropane triacrylate (TMPTA) as photocrosslinker, were studied by means of testing the gel content. The mechanical properties of the EVA/HDPE composite were also researched. The results indicated that the adding of EVA can alter the irradiation reaction of EVA/HDPE composite, the influence of irradiation time on EVA/HDPE composite is obvious and the mechanical properties of the EVA/HDPE change along with increase of EVA content.
