Abstract
The Triassic lithologic and electrical characteristics of Well Z2 from the central Junggar Basin,Xinjiang, northwestern China are described and interpreted.Based on the assemblages of sporopollens and megaspores, the Triassic succession of Well Z2 is subdivided and correlated with adjacent wells. The Triassic sedimentary environment is interpreted on the basis of well logging data and previous studies on regional sedimentary facies.
