Abstract
Kelasu tectonic belt was a beneficial area of forming a gas reservoir in Kuqa foreland basin.Anticlinal structural reservoir was the main type of reservoir exploration. But in non-drilled traps, determined anticlinal traps were less, thus it was difficult to provide a beneficial exploration target. The structural difference from east to west was analyzed in the tectonic belt.In combination with the characters of gas reservoir formation in tectonic belt, faulted anticline and uneven pressure reservoirs are proposed on the basis of existed anticline,fault-nose reservoir forming patterns.
