Abstract

Recent advances in inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) since 1988 was briefly reviewed. The contents include isotope ratio analysis, double-focusing magnetic sector ICP mass spectrometer, time-of-flight ICP mass spectrometry, cool plasma and shield torch, collision and reaction-induced dissociation of cluster species.
