Abstract

As latecomer modern countries,there are certain similarities in the process of modernization between China and Japan.This paper briefly discusses the process and features of the modernization of Japan: imbalance in modernization;changes in middle class as well as family relationships,and then it draws out what the modernization of China can learn from: To promote the legalization construction;build a strong government;especially to increase policy tilt to rural areas against the widening urban-rural dual structure.
