In recent years,many domestic and foreign scholars have realized that the positive role of mother tongue played in second-language acquisition is not allowed to be neglected.This paper first makes a preliminary analysis of the positive function of mother tongue in second-language acquisition from two aspects: mother tongue thinking and related knowledge of mother tongue,and then makes a study of the use of mother tongue strategy in second language teaching.
