Abstract
The medicine books of Buddhism are the foundation of the Buddhist medicine.The Features of the medical books of Buddhism in Tang Dynasty are as follows: First,medicine books of Buddhism are different in the quantity of catalogue books of Buddhism extracted in government-compiled history books.Second,the quantity of medicine books of Buddhism translated in Tang Dynasty is less than that in Wei,Jin,South and North Dynasties.Third,the quantity of medicine books of Buddhism translated in the early time of Tang Dynasty is more than that in the late time.Fourth,the phenomenon so called harmony of therapy and incantation existed in medicine books of Buddhism and changed in Tang Dynasty.
