Flotation of Bastnaesite and Monazite in Dressing Plant Tailing

Relationship of the mineral compositions of the rare earth elements,the effects of the main technological parameters and the combination of the flotation reagents such as collector,depressor,pH regulator and frother on flotation index of the rare earth elements have been studied.Two new flotation flow sheets used to improve the flotation index of the rare earth elements were presented.Compared with the old flotation flow sheet,whichis being used in the Baotou Mineral Processing Plant,these two new flotation flow sheets have such advantages as simpler flow structure and higher flotation index of rare earth elements.
