Abstract

Objective: To observe the changes of somatostatin (SS) in gastric antrum (GA) and medulla oblongata (MO) respectively, gastric lesion index and gastric mucosal blood flow (GMBF) in rat model of gastric mucosal injury when Sibai, Tianshu and Zusanli points of the Stomach Meridianof Foot- yangming were stimulated with electronic acupuncturing( EA) ,and to explore the material base for the relationship between meridian and viscera. Methods:Sixty SD rats were randomly divid- ed into six groups:acupuncturing- Zusanli- Tianshu- Sibai group, normal group, model group, acupuncturing- Sibai group,acupuncturing- Tianshu group and acupuncturing non- point group.Gas- tric mucosalinjury model was made by filling ethanol into stomach. GMBF was detected with hydro- gen- cleaning and SS in gastric anturm and medulla oblongata measured with radioimmunoassay ( RIA) . Results:GMBF decreased obviously after gastric mucous membrane injury. After acupunc- turing Sibai,Zusanli,Tianshu and nonpoint,GMBF increased in different degree. The increase of the acupuncturing- Zusanligroup and acupuncturing- Sibaigroup was moreobvious( P 0 .0 1 ) .SSin GA and MO of gastric mucosa injury group washigherthan thatof normalgroup( P 0 .0 5 or P 0 .0 1 ) .The increase in both acupuncturing Sibai group and Zusanli group was not obvious( P 0 . 0 5 ) . Conclusion:SSin GA and MO is related with GMBF. Stimulating Sibaiand Zusanliby EA can accelerate recovery of gastric mucosa injury, which may change the content of SS in GA and MO to affect GMBF.
