Abstract

Iso - amyl acetate was synthesized by using activated titanium sulfate as catalyst. The optimal conditions were determined. The results show: when 0.075 mol of acetic acid,0.10 mol of iso - amylol and 0. 30 g of catalyst are used, the reacting time is 90 min,the ratio of esterification reaches 99.31% .
