Abstract

Green tea polyphenols(GTP) are the generic term of many compounds in green tea, including catechins, flavonoids, phenolic acids and anthocyans. Many studies found that green tea polyphenols has anti- aging, anti- tumor, regulating blood pressure, anti-artherosclerosis, antibacterial effects and so on. This paper summarized the pharmacological studies of green tea polyphenols in recent years, providing the basis for the further development.
