Abstract
Objective:To explore the clinical efficacy of synovectomy for tuberculous synovitis of the knee by arthroscopy.Methods: From Jan 1990 to Jul 2003,23 cases of tuberculous synovitis of the knee received synovectomy and biopsy by arthroscopy.Results: All the cases,who were followed up for 16 to 36 months,had good function recovery.The success rate reached 96.3%.Conclusion: Treatment of tuberculous synovitis of the knee by means of synovectomy through arthroscopy is a safe and effective method.
