Abstract
Wumeiquan is popular in joining areas in Fujian,Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces where most Hakka people live.This martial art is now most popular in Minxi,west Fujian Province and has been listed as the second batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage.By use of literature,field surveys,interview on this martial art,the paper studies the inheriting of Wemeiquan and describes the impact it has had on Hakka women,providing reference for carrying this art forward.
