Abstract
Progresses in the studies on chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Sophora tonkinensis were systematically reviewed in this article.As a valuable traditional Chinese medicinal herb,Sophora tonkinensis mainly contains alkaloids and flavonoids which display antitumor,immune-potentiation and antiarrhythmic activity.It would be a promising source of bioactive natural products.
