Abstract
The use of pesticides has significantly incresased the yield of agricultural products. However, the resulting pesticide residues in food have posed great harmfulness to consumers' health. It is very important to develop high effective analytical method for pesticides and improve the monitoring ability of pesticide residues for the protection of consumers' health, promotion of food trade and improvement of governmental credibility. At present, traditional nonpolar organochlorine pesticides has been gradually replaced by some high effective, harmfulless and polar pesticides, which are very amenable to be analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC).Compared with traditional HPLC combined with violet-visible or fluorescence detector,HPLC combined with triple-quadrupole tandem mass spectrometry(MS/MS)(HPLC-MS/MS)in multiple reaction monitoring(MRM)mode an provide better sensitivity and selectivity, and reduce the possibility of false positive results, making this technique very suitable for the analysis of pesticide residues in complex food matrices. This review focuses on the recent development of pesticide residues analysis using HPLC-MS/MS technique, especially the sample pretretment methods in this analysis process.
