Effect of Brodifacoum posion bait against rodents in the fields

Abstract

Objective To observe the effect of 0.005% Brodifacoum poison bait on the rodents.Methods The rodent density was investigated by the method of powder trace. Brodifacoum posion bait was put in the fields. Results 20 days after placing the poison bait, the rodent density decreased from 10.8%-18.2% to 1.2%-2.0%. The rate of deratization was above 88.9% . Conclusion 0.005% Brodifacoum poison bait had good effect on killing rodent in fields. It was safe and easy to apply.
