Abstract

Vegetation succession theory is the fundamental theory to guide the restoration and reconstruction of degraded ecosystem.The development,the important status and the practice application in ecological restoration,and the research methods and trends were reviewed in this article in order to inspire new ideas of vegetation succession in restoration ecology.
