Abstract

Magnetocaloric effect in magnetic refrigeration has been analyzed by using thermodynamic theory.The formulae of magnetic entropy change |ΔSm| and adiabatic temperature change ΔTad have been deduced.The selection principle of magnetic refrigerant materials has been given.
