Applied Research of Information Retrieval Technology in Search Engine

With the geometric growth of the Internet information,Search engines can help people quickly and effectively to find the information they need from a flood of network information.This paper analyzes the search engine work principle,proposes improving search engine performance through distributed search technology and document classification technology.In the end,it introduces insufficient and improvement of KNN text classification algorithms.
