Abstract

The combined process of catalytic internal electrolysis, anaerobic unit, aerobic MBR and ozone oxidation was applied for the treatment of high-concentration reactive dye wastewater. The treatment efficiency was investigated, and the function of each process unit was analyzed. The result showed that the average removal rates of COD,color,NH+4- N and TN were 96. 8%,99. 8%,85. 3%and 83. 0% respectively. The treated water quality met the effluent standards stably. Color was removed mainly by catalytic internal electrolysis,anaerobic/aerobic MBR biochemical system had slight effect on color removal, and ozone oxidation was necessary to ensure that color met the discharge standards. Each unit of the combined process had removal effect of COD,NH+4- N and TN,but the pollutants were mainly removed by anaerobic unit and aerobic MBR.
