Abstract
Synthesis of tributyl citrate(TBC) had been studied by using citric acid and n-butanol as reactants and solid superacid SO4/ZnO-TiO2 as a catalyst. The influences of reaction condition on the yield of ester were investigated. The results showed that the optimal conditions were using 1% of catalyst with the molar ration of n-butanol to citric acid being 4.0∶1,at temperature of 130 ℃-140 ℃ for 2.5 h.Under this condition, the maximum yield of ester was over 98%.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.

Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
