Abstract
The air static pressure thrust bearing which has fixed-section pressure-equalizing groove and variable-section pressure-equalizing groove made by elastic sheet is a new structure bearing. This paper makes use of the airostatic bearing test bed to measure load and gas film thickness of the aerostatict hrust bearing. At the same time this paper researches and analyzes the stiffness performance of the bearing. As result of the experiment, the design of the new air static pressure thrust bearing can improve the stiffness of the bearing.
