Abstract
The orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) and multi-input multi-output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM) has high peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR).Most of methods is used to reduce PAPR directly by using the OFDM system, but many problems occur in matching with MIMO-OFDM system. This paper respectively analyzes OFDM and MIMO-OFDM system models and PAPR,and the relations between them theoretically. In the paper,we summarize the notices in reducing PAPR in the MIMO-OFDM system, which provides the theoretical foundation for the application of OFDM and MIMO-OFDM system.
