Abstract

The landscape features like themes and individuality of a riverside area contribute to reflect the city's unique style,which is the key aspect of the urban landscape planning and construction.Taking the riverside area in Guangzhou as an example,the paper analyses the landscape planning there and the role of different planning theme concepts in creating different landscapes with unique riverside landscape characteristics.
