Expression of MyD88 in Serum of Patients with Pregnancy Induced Hypertension and Preeclampsia

Objective: To explore the expression of myeloid differentiation factor 88(MyD88) in serum of patients with pregnancy induced hypertension and preeclampsia. Methods: Thirty patients with eclampsia(group E),32 patients with pregnancy induced hypertension( group H) and 32 healthy pregnant women(group C) served as study subjects. Serum MyD88 levels were detected with Western blotting,serum IL-6,IL-8,and TNF-α levels were examined by using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Results: Compared with group C,the levels of MyD88 protein,IL-6,IL-8,and TNF-α in serum of patients in group H and group E were significantly increased( 0. 05). There was also significant difference in MyD88 protein expression levels and IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α levels between group H and group E(P 0. 05). MyD88 protein expression levels were positively corelated with IL-6,IL-8,TNF-α levels. Conclusions: Myd88 is closely related to severity of pregnancy induced hypertension and may play an important role in the occurrence and development in this disease.
