Abstract
Some methods of toughening epoxy resin, including those of doing epoxy resin with thermoplastic resin, liquid crystalline polymer, interpenetrating polymer networks and nano-particles are introduced, and their toughening mechanisms and problems in actual application are summarized and analyzed briefly.
