Cultural Image and Social Functions of Folk Dance in Hebei Province

Abstract

This paper studied the history and culture of folk dance in Hebei province,analyzed the cultural image of folk dance with the samples of Cangzhou Laozi,Jingxing Lahua and Xushui lion dance.Based on this,it explored the social functions of folk dance in self-entertaining,appreciating,body-building,educating,trading and advertising.
