Abstract

The new point estimate for the two-parameter exponential distribution based on the progressive type Ⅱ censored is obtained. Finally, using simulation, compare the proposed estimators with the maximum likelihood estimators(MLE).The simulation results show that the proposed estimators outperform the MLE.
