Abstract

Based on different acupunture therapies and applications,this paper reviews acupuncture treatment for dysphagia after stroke in recent years,including body acupuncture nape needle,tongue acupuncture,scalp acupuncture,electroacupuncture,hydro-acupuncture and catgut embedding.The analysis of mechanism has been given from the view of traditonal Chinese medicine and modern medicine.Acupuncture treatment for dysphagia after stroke has positive effects,and the paper also points out the problems of clinical research methods and future research direction.
