Abstract

E-business hold the great potential to streamline and improve business-to-business and busincss-to-customer transactions. As a newly emerging technology, it has been widely used in many areas, such as online shopping systems, and electronic commerce systems. However, not all Web technologies are equally suited to the support of different business activities. In this paper, we outline a business process model and an evaluation model to improve the conceptual design of web-based information system to support business-to-busincss, and busincss-to-customcr transactions. This helps enterprises to identify the areas where information system functionality is currently inadequate.
