Abstract
Host is induced to produce the protective immunity response after infected with Eimeria ,and humoral immunity plays an important role in the immune response to Eimeria. Circulating antibody could be detected after chicks have been infected with Eimeria. IgM usually occur firstly in the primary infection. High level of IgG play an important role in the secondary infection. Mucous membrane immunity is the important constitute part of chicks humoral immunity, namely produced sIgA. High concentration of IgA is related with the lower rate of reviviscence of sporozoites. The infection of Eimeria to chickling could be inhibited by mother antibody and the level of mother antibody of chickling is highly correlated to the changes against infection of Eimeria. The function of circulating antibody, sIgA and mother antibody in the protective immunity of against coccidiosis was comprehensively described in this minireview, in order to provide important scientific basis for the prevention of avian coccidiosis.
