Abstract

The legal system of South Africa has a mixed characteristic.Besides constitution,statutory law and common law,the customary law is also an important sources of law in South Africa.In the field of public law,the law of South Africa is mainly influenced by common law,while in the field of private law,it largely reflects the imprint of Roman-Dutch law and customary law.On the justice system,South Africa mainly follows the United Kingdom.
