Research on biological data integration based on semantic Web technologies

Abstract

At present,the research in biology heavily depends on the availability and reliability of biological data.In order to build new biological knowledge,various sources of biological data must be integrated.Firstly,the overview of main semantic web technologies and their application on biological data integration are described.Secondly,the application of these technologies on biological data integration faces some challenges due to the specificity of biological data.Finally,we present the further development of these technologies on biological data integration.
