Abstract
In this paper, more than 300 ionograms of Wuchang, China in three years are reduced to extract the valley information with a new technique.By statistical analysis, we obtain the typical daytime behavior in valley region between the E and F layers of the ionosphere and reveal some new variation characteristics of the valley parameters. The possible causes of the results have been discussed.
