Abstract
Objective: To observe the effect of transcutanclus electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)on endometrium growth and pregnancy outcome of patients with repeated recurrent implantation failure in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycle. Methods:One hundred and seventy six patients with repeated recurrent implantation failure were randomly divided into two groups. In experiment group,82 patients received conventional endometrial preparation and TEAS therapy from the 10 th day of menstruation until the frozen-thawed embryo transfer day.The control group consisted of 94 patients who only received conventional endometrial preparation. The difference in endometrial thickness between the 10 th day of menstruation and the frozen-thawed embryo transfer day, biochemical pregnancy rate, clinical pregnancy rate and implantation rate were observed. Results:The biochemical pregnancy rate in experimental group was higher than that in the control group without significant difference. However, the differences in endometrial thickness, implantation rate and clinical pregnancy rate in experimental group were significantly higher than those in control group(P0.05).Conclusions:TEAS can improve endometrial receptivity in patients with recurrent implantation failure, thus increasing implantation rate in frozen-thawed embryo transfer cycle.
