Abstract
By defining the rigidity of the flexible flange joints,an application of different bolt pretension to the flexible flange joints in power-transformed frames was theoretically studied,and a test is designed to analyze the influence of high strength bolt and ordinary bolt used to the flexible flange joints.At last,some precautions required in the experimental design are pointed out.
