Abstract

Taking the basic contradiction of capitalism as a clue is a fundamental method for the founders of Marxism to study capitalism and reveal the historical destiny of capitalism.With this method,the basic contradiction of contemporary capitalism is still found exist and is expressed in various forms.The contradiction on the one hand exerts destructive effects of triggering economic crises,on the other hand has constructive effects of promoting capitalist adjustments and reforms,which produce more socialist elements and make contemporary capitalism approach socialism.
