Investigation and Monitoring of Environmental Noise for Xiasha Highter Educational District in Hangzhou

Abstract

Xiasha,the developmental zone of the economy and technology in Hangzhou municipality,was established in 1999.It contains the Higher Educational District,the Industrial District,the Mixed Residential and Commercial District.With the development of Vice-City in Xiasha,the original noise standard,Class III,in 1999,was not suitable any more.To analyze the main source of the noise pollution in the Higher Educational District of Xiasha,the regional environmental noise for the entire district was consequently investigated and monitored.Based upon the evaluation of the regional environmental noise control standards and the monitored results,some suggestion for the functional regional division of the environmental noise was proposed as well.
