Traditional sloping tour wharf in reservoir has some drawbacks such as unsafety of boarding and disembarkation and dullness in sight.But the new stepped wharf can overcome all the above defects.Combining with a tour wharf design of Qiandaohu reservoir,this paper introduces the overall layout and structural design of the new-type stepped wharf,which may serve as a reference for similar engineering.
