Abstract
Based on the cantilever crane design for a specific concrete pump vehicle, the statistical and frequency analyses are first conducted using finite element analysis(FEA).Then, the cantilever crane model is optimally improved for secondary simulation analysis. Finally,it is found that the analysis results from improved design are much better than those from initial design. Therefore,it is proven that the FEA method signifies the optimal product design improvement and design cycle reduction.
